haha. wondering why i said again? because before this i've worked at this place before this. for about 3 months ( i think ) before i went to uitm, lendu for my 1st semester. then i worked back here for i month and a half, during my semester break. but now i've resign from my work, again, because 2nd semester is just around the corner. working here has given alot of experience and both good and nasty memories. firstly, this is a 5 star movie theater. so people expect, well, only the best services from this bloody place. but the truth is, sometimes 5 star places, isn't so 5 star. same goes to this place. but we have to atleast to exceed the expectations from our common and regular customer. and its damn hard to satisfy them. okay, at any movie theater, there would be 3 major department, which is, Box Office a.k.a BO which is the department that handles movie ticketing. 2nd is, Consesscion which is the department tht handles the foods and drinks and POPCORNS. lastly, the steward depatment which is the depatment that handles the halls, the posters, the checkpoints, the 3D glasses, and everything in between. and ther is another additional department which is quite new, just a few months back, which is the Ambassador department, this department handles the Gold Class seats. so for me, when i 1st started working here, i had been assigned to work at the concesscion department. at first i was scared because i thought it would be kindda hard because you have to handle all the drinks and the foods, you have to know the price, how to promote and upsell, how to manage the counters and moneys and payments, you have to know which popcorn is which, what to do when opening and closing shift and many more damn things. but later on, when i started to get used to it, it was kindda fun. the staffs in this department is more cooler and fun. we had the highest salary, because we endured more work than the other departments and our work is more tiring. hell yeah. so of course our salary is just a little bit higher than the rest. if i were to worked here again, i would still choose to work at concesscion deparment, becuase thats where i'd fit in. the department for loud and cool people. HAHA.
